Law #4: Any Fool Can Make A Rule and Any Fool Will Mind It. –H.D. Thoreau

If I Had My Camera With Me

If I had my camera with me
I could show you this beauty I see.
Pink, red, and orange bursting o’er the hills;
Bottomless black shadows, the Earth they do chill.
Piercing the sky, the silhouettes of trees;
In the sky, scattered starry debris.

.

The vast horizon spreading widely

Out before me obstruction free.

I’d have loved to share this visual thrill

If I had my camera with me.

.

You could imagine a view so pretty,
The colors bleeding so subtly.
Falling farther and farther down until

All existence is calm and still.

I would have shared with you this beauty

If I had my camera with me

.
